Fisher’s Story with Indigo
It is with great pleasure I write this testimonial for Indigo Mentors, a qualified and professional NDIS provider, who has an amazing team of mentors for emerging teens.
My son, Fisher, has been under the guidance and support of Indigo Mentors since 2018.
Diagnosed with ASD when he was young, Fisher struggled with keeping focused, being bullied at school, making and maintaining friendships, following basic instructions and managing his emotions.
As a single parent with no immediate family in the area, I was extremely overwhelmed and exhausted trying to juggle work, house chores and support for my son.
All I wanted was for Fisher’s happiness and confidence to grow so that he could better manage his social and school life. This was when I sought out a trusted NDIS service provider to help me.
After finding Callam at Indigo Mentors, he met with Fisher and I, discussed our needs and managed to immediately put Fisher at ease and instil excitement for the upcoming services.
Since their appointment to the mentorship role with Fisher, he has flourished and grown into a more resilient, confident and patient young man who is succeeding scholastically and now has a strong friendship circle. Dream achieved!!
Their safe, calm and actively fun approach to helping us reach our goals has been invaluable. I thank Indigo Mentors for their continued presence in Fisher’s life, their persistence to make change and their service affordability.
I strongly recommend Indigo Mentors to anyone looking to make a positive difference to the life of their child.
