The Process

Apply

Complete and submit your support worker application. You'll need to fill out some personal details, upload a bio and profile photo, and undergo some pre-employment checks.

Approval Process

Meet the team at Indigo Mentors to ensure that you are suitable for the role. 

Accept

Once you've connected with a client, have a meet and greet to get to know each other before a shift. Your client will create a booking request, which you can accept before working the shift.

Get paid

Submit your timesheet to Indigo. You'll be emailed a payslip and be paid accordingly

Requirements for becoming a Mentor

If you are physically fit, friendly with a positive outlook, reliable and a great communicator and looking for a rewarding career you could be an Indigo Mentor.

You will need:

  • PoliceCheck

  • HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

  • A Working with Children Check / Blue Card

  • A reliable vehicle and driver's licence

  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • COVID-19 Vaccination or Exemption Certificate

  • COVID-19 infection control and prevention training

  • A can-do attitude
